The great thing about drawing cartoons is I have the ability to make people speak the truth within the frame of my work. And with the resent news about skyrocketing drug costs, this cartoon seemed appropriate… and true. I’m all for a free market, but the outrageous drug industry gorging on the sick and elderly has become an epidemic in its own right. I now deal with this issue with my aging father – I can’t imagine what it will be like for me and my wife in 20 years.
Perhaps it’s time to look into the medicinal value of placebos!
