IT’S ABOUT THEM

Being an instructor should NEVER be about you! You are there to share your knowledge and enlighten and educate the next generation of firefighters, not to boost your ego or career. I’m sure many of you could add to this list of good instructor traits – my hope is most of you embrace and embody these traits.

Firehouse.com is celebrating their 10th anniversary this week and ask that I create something special for the occasion. I have been with them going on four years, myself. Though some very good people have left for bigger and better challenges, firehouse.com is still on the fire service front lines and I’m proud to call them “Brother”!
